joe: I know. It's the improper term for it. But the actual formal term really is "cell". Look it up. In any case, we all know what is being referred to.

Ricky: For future reference, it's "cel" shading, not "cell" shading. Only one "L."

joe: Thanks. I must admit, doing colors this way is too minimalistic but that's the best coloring method done on actual animations since it's easier to render on screen. Notice on most animations, Jap or otherwise, they have minimum shading to almost flat colors on characters. Illustrations, however, require more tones since they're just still. So I'm not really sure what they mean when they say 'more like anime' - is it the illustrated anime or the animated ones? Hehe.
