  • someone: I think we should stop arguing about IchiRuki or IchiHime but let me say this. Bleach is not a romance, so it will not focus on that kind of relationship anyway. Maybe we'll get some small doses of romance later, but it won't be much. It's currently somewhat of a love triangle. Orihime has a huge crush on Ichigo, while Ichigo sees her as a best friend right now. Rukia and Ichigo have a deeper relationship because they understand each other very well. You see how Rukia can always cheer Ichigo up...
    and motivate him when he's not. Not to mention the few romantic moments when they just stare at each other or look off into the distance while next to each other (in the soul society it happened, and in Hueco Mundo at their reunion). I'm not saying anything will happen between Ichigo and Rukia, but it's much more likey than Ichigo and Orihime. Though I doubt anything will happen until the very end of Bleach because Kubo doesn't want to piss people off like that, considering how large the fanbase is following each possible romance. Until then, the Anime will entertatin both possibilities to please everyone.
